Bread and Butter is a video projection that is accompanied by one of the many handwritten notes my mother would leave for my brother and I before she left for work. Notes like this would greet us everyday when we arrived home from middle school and would always instruct us to make something to eat. As the elder brother, food prep fell to me. I taught myself how to make basic no-cook meals for the two of us by the time I was in 5th grade.
